In the Light

Work by Visiting artist Krynkana (Yui) Kongpetch Reception: 11 March 2015 6:00pm "I am fascinated by how memories are formed around and related to the idea and reality of death," Yui says. "This concept extends upon my prior work which utilized figures and sculptural materials to poetically visualise various characteristics of death. The work developed during the residency at the ANU Sculpture Workshop will extend this dialogue and build relationships between image, imagination and memory around my subject." Yui is currently the Visiting Artist at the ANU School of Art Sculpture workshop.
